Summary:

Tactical assault on Valley Dirtlands Cultivation Site resulted in facility destruction, neutralization of primary threat DAKOTA KNIGHT, and discovery of unnatural agricultural operation. Multiple agent casualties. Asset DRUMMOND compromised and missing. $17 million in undocumented currency recovered.

Operation Report:

  • Initial explosive detonation of industrial butane tank in processing lab created three damage zones

  • Support asset ISHA terminated instantly in blast zone

  • Agent PARKER killed by shrapnel penetration, pronounced dead at scene

  • SRT member HUSKY rendered unconscious, stabilized and evacuated to local medical facility

  • Anomalous arthropod entities emerged from ventilation systems, displaying flesh-harvesting behavior

  • Entities appeared as white, finger-length organisms with asymmetrical wings/legs, hybrid mantis-aphid morphology

  • Agent DRUMMOND experienced full-body infestation by entities, underwent apparent psychological break

  • DRUMMOND exhibited signs of external influence/compulsion toward warehouse interior

  • Agent MCCARTER reported DRUMMOND displaying “ancient cravings” and attraction to unnatural presence inside facility

  • Subject DAKOTA KNIGHT engaged at vehicle bay entrance

  • KNIGHT exhibited unnatural anatomical modification: fleshy umbilical appendage extending from abdominal cavity

  • Appendage demonstrated autonomous movement and predatory behavior

  • SRT member SPRINKLE terminated via unknown toxin/venom from KNIGHT’s appendage

  • FUDD neutralized KNIGHT with multiple shotgun rounds to head and torso

  • KNIGHT’s remains disposed of via incineration

  • Exploration of Grow House C revealed two security personnel in catatonic state, covered in arthropod entities

  • Visible trauma included flesh removal to bone in multiple locations

  • Vegetation in grow houses displayed unnatural characteristics including meter-long insectile appendages

  • CRUNCHY deployed additional C4 charges to ensure complete destruction

  • Smoke from burning facility produced psychoactive effects distinct from standard cannabis intoxication

  • Personnel reported disorientation, euphoria coupled with aggression

  • Agent MCCARTER displayed immunity to effects, experienced apparent pleasure from destruction

  • DRUMMOND abandoned position, last seen heading toward Greeley on foot

  • Agent BOOTH reported DRUMMOND as KIA to handler PITZARELLI

  • MCCARTER corroborated false report despite witnessing DRUMMOND’s departure

  • Vault breach revealed $17 million in cash and glass container of unnatural seeds

  • Seeds demonstrated rapid growth upon exposure, penetrating concrete flooring

  • MCCARTER neutralized seed threat using improvised incendiary (bear spray + lighter)

  • Currency distributed among surviving team members

  • Multiple decomposed bodies discovered in grow bed soil, ranging from skeletal to recent

  • Plant root systems intertwined with remains

  • Victims identified as local college students with social media connections to DAKOTA KNIGHT

  • Bodies released to local authorities for identification

  • WILLIAM KNIGHT (property owner) terminated by local law enforcement during arrest attempt

  • One officer KIA, KNIGHT residence destroyed by fire (circumstances suspect)

  • Surviving officer displayed signs of unnatural encounter, unwilling to elaborate

  • Week following operation: multiple former employees hospitalized with severe withdrawal symptoms

  • Subjects displayed extreme addiction beyond standard narcotic dependency

Analysis and Recommendations:

The botanical specimens at Valley Dirtlands represent a hybridization attempt similar to those documented in Operations KUDZU THRONE and VERDANT APOSTLE. The arthropod manifestations bear hallmarks of MOTHER-cult bioengineering, consistent with Skoptsi practices previously encountered at Cornucopia House.

Agent MCCARTER’s reaction to the unnatural stimuli requires immediate evaluation. His expressed pleasure at witnessing destruction and apparent communion with an external consciousness suggests progression of the infection vector first noted in his Florida Everglades exposure. Recommend covert surveillance and potential extraction before full conversion.

DRUMMOND’s disappearance follows Pattern Seven trajectories observed in Operations PAPER TIGER and BRONZE AUTUMN. Subjects experiencing similar compulsions have historically resurfaced as opposition assets or cult leadership. Immediate location and termination recommended before seed consciousness fully integrates.

The $17 million recovery suggests Valley Dirtlands was a distribution hub for a larger network. Financial forensics may reveal connections to Operations GOLDEN FLEECE and MARKET GARDEN. The addiction patterns in former employees indicate the product was designed for dependency beyond recreational use - possible population control vector or consciousness preparation mechanism.

The KNIGHTS’ simultaneous termination removes primary intelligence sources regarding the operation’s scope. Recommend deep background investigation into their contacts, particularly any connections to European botanical research facilities or former Soviet agricultural programs.

PITZARELLI’s rapid containment response and willingness to accept falsified casualty reports suggests Program infrastructure remains intact despite recent setbacks. Her exhaustion levels indicate operational tempo exceeding sustainable parameters. Replacement or augmentation of her position should be considered before critical failure.

The ease with which local law enforcement accepted federal jurisdiction indicates either exceptional Program influence or concerning levels of civilian authority compromise. Recommend audit of Colorado state and local agencies for unnatural influence markers.

Cross-reference all recovered biological samples with materials from Operations GLYPH SIGNAL, OBSIDIAN HARVEST, and CRIMSON SPRING. The convergence of botanical, entomological, and consciousness-manipulation vectors suggests coordination between previously independent threat streams.

Immediate priorities:

  • Locate and assess Agent DRUMMOND
  • Full psychological evaluation of Agent MCCARTER
  • Forensic analysis of recovered financial assets
  • Monitoring of all former Valley Dirtlands employees for secondary manifestations
  • Investigation into similar cultivation sites in neighboring states

The successful destruction of the facility represents tactical victory but strategic uncertainty. The ease of threat neutralization suggests this site was expendable to its operators. Recommend increased surveillance of agricultural operations throughout the Southwest corridor.

Session Notes

Session Recap & Setup

  • Luke begins with a recap of the previous session where SRT Epsilon joined Masticate at the Valley Dirtlands Cultivation Site
  • With Isha’s help, Drummond had been monitoring Dakota Knight’s SUV location to spring a trap
  • Knight had driven into the canyon behind the Valley Dirtlands site instead of using the front access road and was waiting there
  • Two teams of shooters had approached from the rear of the property, stacking up at the rear entrance and employee entrance
  • When the rear team entered, Crunchy hit them with a flashbang, then Fudd, Husky, and Sprinkle opened fire, gunning down the first group
  • The second group moved through the stock room and processing lab, scooping up pressurized tanks from chemical storage
  • Milky white flying insects poured from the vents, carving pieces of flesh from victims
  • Crunchy had detonated C4 placed on an industrial butane tank in the processing lab at the end of the previous session
  • Luke clarifies he never intended this to be a total party kill, just a cliffhanger moment

Explosion Aftermath - Damage Assessment

  • Luke displays a map with three damage zones centered on the processing lab:
    • Red circle (center): Instant death area covering the entire processing lab - the security team inside is obliterated
    • Yellow circle: 30% lethality with fire damage, extending through dispensary, lobby, and quarter of main room
    • Green circle: Shockwave and shrapnel damage requiring luck checks
  • Isha (in yellow zone) rolls 18 on lethality check and is killed - splattered and torn to shreds by shockwave and flame while trying to follow Cole to the window
  • Crunchy automatically succeeds his luck check due to taking cover, takes 2d6 damage minus armor (7 total) - takes zero damage
  • Husky fails luck check with 66, takes 2d10 damage, reduced to 2 hit points and falls unconscious
  • Cole fails luck check, takes 12 damage from 2d10 roll (has 10 hit points), dies with a large piece of sheet metal through him
  • Everyone else takes superficial injuries from debris

Graham’s Transformation

  • Matthew stands over Graham who is covered in writhing insects
  • The insects are roughly index finger length with asymmetrical wings and legs, body form between praying mantis and large aphid
  • As they consume Graham’s flesh and blood, they turn from white to pink and red
  • Graham is in a stupor, slapping at himself and creating pinkish-red paste where he swipes
  • Graham loses 6 sanity (rolls a 6), projects 3 onto his bond with Special Agent Roman Butler
  • Graham reaches his breaking point
  • Graham sits up with a deep ragged breath, experiencing an ancient presence:
    • A silent whisper splits into a blackened maw with primordial teeth
    • Ancient cravings from an unseen Leviathan animate him
    • He feels something vast experiencing through him
    • Filled with need to kill and gorge on something monstrous inside the warehouse making a delicious smell
  • Matthew backs away slowly from the bug-covered Graham

Epsilon’s Escape Attempt

  • Fudd scans the area, sees Crunchy moving and relatively okay
  • Doc yells “Husky’s down!”
  • Fudd moves to Husky and asks Doc to help get her out
  • The grow house wall is rent open but full of fire
  • Fudd tosses a grenade (with pin still in) to Crunchy
  • Fudd calls out for everyone to sound off - gets responses from Epsilon members and Frank but not Isha
  • Frank got his bell rung in the hallway, responds after 10-15 seconds
  • Matthew responds, Graham cannot answer due to his condition
  • Doc starts pulling Husky along

Knight’s Attack at the Garage Door

  • Sprinkle attempts to open the vehicle bay entrance with a key card
  • Building has lost power, luck check fails - door is locked
  • As Sprinkle works on the lock, Doc’s eyes roll back and she begins choking
  • Sprinkle manages to start opening the garage door
  • Dakota Knight stands immediately outside with a huge muscled form
  • A fleshy umbilical emerges from Knight’s midsection and bites into Sprinkle
  • Sprinkle feels burning sensation tearing up his arm

Combat with Knight

  • Sprinkle backs up and shoots Knight with his rifle for 8 damage
  • Crunchy tries to get a clear shot position
  • Fudd moves laterally and shoots Knight with shotgun for 5 damage
  • Knight’s umbilical whips around causing sanity checks
  • Sprinkle critically fails sanity check, loses 6 sanity
  • Crunchy and Fudd fail checks, lose 1 sanity each
  • Fudd gets temporary insanity (5 sanity loss), goes into fight mode
  • Sprinkle starts foaming at mouth, convulsing, dies before hitting the ground (12 hit points lost)
  • Fudd enters mad dog mode, advances firing repeatedly, rolls critical success for 16 damage
  • Knight falls to the ground
  • Fudd continues firing until empty, destroying Knight’s head and umbilical

Securing the Site

  • Crunchy and Fudd sweep around to check the Tahoe that rammed through
  • Matthew comes around corner and sees Knight’s dead body with weird fleshy snake
  • Through a rent in grow house C wall, they see two security men covered in white bugs, standing with arms out, flesh peeled to bone in places
  • Writhing vines and insectile legs visible in the room
  • Crunchy throws his last C4 block into the room
  • Matthew helps Doc pull Husky clear as fire spreads

Graham and Frank’s Departure

  • Frank and Graham hear sirens approaching, see emergency vehicles in distance
  • Graham heads toward the truck, crying and saying he needs to get out
  • Graham loses 4 more sanity, projects 3 onto his brother, down to 3 willpower
  • Frank gets the keys and they get in the truck
  • Frank calls Pitzarelli: reports target unknown, everything FUBAR, one down
  • Pitzarelli says she’ll tell locals there are federal agents on scene as part of federal op
  • Graham asks Frank to stop at a convenience store, saying he needs to use the bathroom
  • Frank gives Graham a brick of cash ($20,000) saying “bodies are real hard to identify in places like that”
  • Graham shakes Frank’s hand, says goodbye, walks off toward Greeley and disappears

Emergency Response & Cover-up

  • Emergency vehicles arrive - ambulances, fire, police, highway patrol
  • Pitzarelli tells Fudd the locals expect to find them there
  • Husky is put in ambulance to local hospital
  • Greeley detectives arrive asking what happened
  • Crunchy mentions incorrect storage of flammable materials
  • Fudd tells detectives it’s a covert operation, they don’t have need to know
  • Firefighters wear respirators due to toxic fumes warning
  • Frank eventually returns to the site after dropping off Graham

The Vault Discovery

  • Next day, Frank has Crunchy blow the vault door
  • Crunchy fails demolitions roll, uses too much explosive
  • Inside vault, a jar has fallen and smashed, releasing seeds
  • Seeds immediately sprout with time-lapse speed, cracking concrete
  • Most fail sanity checks, lose 1 sanity
  • Matthew critically succeeds, feels it’s the best day of his life, regains 5 sanity (now at 19)
  • Matthew uses bear spray and lighter to burn the plants
  • They recover approximately $17 million in cash
  • Frank distributes money evenly among survivors - over $2 million each

Body Discovery & Investigation

  • In grow beds of houses B and C, they find bodies in various states of decomposition
  • Bodies buried in earth, protected from fire, with plant roots intertwined
  • Some skeletal, one recent and still recognizable though bloated
  • Bodies identified as mostly local college students
  • Police tie them to social media accounts linked to Dakota Knight
  • Police conclude Knight was a serial killer
  • Bill Knight (owner) is arrested, goes berserk, shoots a cop, is shot dead, his house burns down in “freak accident”

Aftermath

  • Week later, rash of ex-employees freaking out, violent incidents, one death
  • Employees yelling they need their “weed,” extremely addicted
  • Pitzarelli does paperwork for two days without sleep
  • Frank tells Pitzarelli that Graham died in the fire
  • Matthew goes along with the lie that Graham is dead
  • Frank reports Matthew was useful but almost a liability, seemed to enjoy the violence
  • Each surviving member receives over $2 million in cash
  • Session ends with discussion of whether to stay with the Program or go rogue
